I am one of the oldest in this hobby..Turned 57 this year..I am semi retired from the Precious Metal Refining business and live in Florida.
Started buidling cars with my son in the early 80's. We raced the Big Wigs, Vanquish, and DOMINATOR. The dominator was super high tech for its time and could beat anything out there..Got back into the hobby last year with my grandson.
I spent a lot time in the metal finishing business and will some day gold plate the Sand Scorcher, Rough Rider, Super Champ and the Ford XLT.
My favorate Tamiya car of all times is Sand Scorcher. Sold this NIB but have everthing to make a new display model |
